Peace is a precious gift that many seek yet few truly find. In John 14:27, Jesus assures us that He leaves us with peace, His peace. This verse serves as a beacon of hope, especially during turbulent times when chaos threatens to invade our hearts. The peace Jesus speaks of is not a temporary relief or the absence of conflict. It is a profound sense of tranquility and assurance that comes from knowing we are cherished and held in the palm of His hand.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, recognizing the incredible gift of peace that You offer us through Your Son, Jesus. Yet, in the midst of it all, You extend an invitation to rest in Your presence and to embrace the peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, help us to quiet our souls and to be still before You.

When we are faced with fear, remind us of Your promises, that You are our refuge, our stronghold, and that You walk beside us through every valley we encounter.
