Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. (Galatians 6:9)
In our everyday lives, it can be all too easy to become weary in the pursuit of goodness. The Apostle Paul encourages us in Galatians 6:9 to remain steadfast, reminding us that the benefits of our good deeds will ultimately be reaped if we do not lose heart. In a world that often seems filled with challenges and distractions, staying committed to a path of kindness, love, and integrity can feel like an uphill battle. Yet, it is in these moments of fatigue that our faith is truly tested and characterized.
Doing good transcends simple acts of kindness; it touches lives, uplifts spirits, and reflects God’s love in a tangible manner. Gracious God, we come before You today, lifting our hearts in gratitude for the opportunity to do good in the world. When the pressures of life weigh heavily upon us and when we feel weary in our pursuits, remind us not to lose heart. Help us, Lord, to discern the moments where our hands can serve, our words can uplift, and our actions can reflect Your love. May we find strength in Your promise that our labors are not in vain, and that every act of kindness plants seeds of hope in the lives of those we touch.
Lord, when doubts and discouragement creep into our thoughts, remind us of the countless examples of goodness You’ve shown us through Jesus Christ. His life was a testament to unwavering love and dedicated service. Help us emulate His example as we navigate the challenges that come our way. Fill us with the Holy Spirit so that we may carry forth the light of Your love, even when the world feels dark and heavy.
If we ever feel overwhelmed or tempted to veer from the path of service, grant us the wisdom to pause and pray. May we seek Your guidance in every decision and steer our hearts back to focuses that align with Your will. Help us to foster a community of love and support, where we can encourage one another in our collective efforts towards goodness.

We trust that in Your perfect timing, we will reap a bountiful harvest of kindness.
