Gracious Lord, as I come before You today, I recognize the transient nature of life and the many things that vie for my attention and devotion. Help me to see beyond the fleeting moments of this world, to appreciate the beauty that surrounds me, yet understand its impermanence. Guide me, Lord, to invest my time and energy in relationships that reflect Your love, to seek You above all things.
I confess that at times I have placed my worth in accomplishments, accolades, and the approval of others. I have wandered into pursuits that bring temporary satisfaction, forgetting the eternal significance of knowing You. Forgive me for these missteps and renew within me a desire to seek Your kingdom first, resting in the assurance that when I do, all other things will find their rightful place. Teach me to cultivate a spirit that values Your eternal promises over earthly gains.
As I navigate my days, let my actions be a reflection of Your love and grace. May I be mindful of the fragility of life, allowing this awareness to deepen my compassion for others. Strengthen my heart to find joy and purpose, not in the flowers that fade, but in the living Word that stands forever. Help me to share Your love with those around me, pointing them toward the lasting hope found in You.
