The Lord is good, and His goodness is a source of strength and refuge for those who seek Him. In times of trouble, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, lost, and vulnerable. However, Nahum 1:7 reminds us that God stands as a protector for those who trust in Him. Trust is not always easy, especially when challenges arise and the path ahead seems uncertain. Yet, this scripture invites us to remember that we are not alone in our struggles. The goodness of the Lord assures us that He is actively watching over us, ready to provide guidance and safety in life’s tumultuous moments.
When we surrender our fears and uncertainties to Him, we open the door to His divine protection. Trusting in God means leaning on His understanding rather than our own. It encourages us to take refuge in His presence, where comfort and peace can be found. As we navigate our trials, we can rest assured that the Lord’s goodness will prevail. May we continuously seek His face and place our trust in His unwavering care and guidance.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long for Your presence. In times of trouble, we seek the comfort of knowing that You are good and that Your love surrounds us like a protective shield. We acknowledge that life can be overwhelming, and yet Your Word reminds us that we are never alone. Help us, Lord, to cling to the truth that You are our refuge, a safe haven in the most turbulent storms. We pray for the strength to trust in You when uncertainties cloud our minds and fear attempts to take hold of our hearts. Allow Your peace, which transcends all understanding, to fill us and lead us through our troubles.
Father, give us the courage to cast aside our anxieties and lean fully into Your goodness. Teach us to remember the countless times You have delivered us and shown us mercy. May we hold fast to our faith, even in the darkest valleys, and declare with confidence that You are good. Surround us with Your love and assurance that we are protected. Let our hearts be anchored in the knowledge of Your faithfulness, and may we find joy even amidst trials, recognizing that we are in Your hands.
