On this #GoodFriday, it is stunning to think about Psalm 22 which Jesus quoted on the cross.
This psalm was written hundreds of years before crucifixion was even invented, but it perfectly prophesied the suffering and sacrifice of the Messiah:
“…a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet.”
