GOD IS NOT WITHHOLDING FROM YOU — YOU’RE MISMANAGING WHAT HE ALREADY GAVE YOU
“If you want provision, steward what you already have” is not motivational fluff. It is biblical law. Jesus made it unmistakably clear that increase follows faithfulness, not desperation. In Luke 16:10, He says the one who is faithful in very little is faithful also in much. That means God does not reward potential, intention, or prayer without obedience. He rewards stewardship.
Modern Christianity has tried to bypass this principle by spiritualizing laziness and calling it faith. We ask God for more money, more influence, more opportunity, while neglecting our time, our discipline, our family, our finances, and our obedience. Scripture does not support that mindset. Matthew 25:14–30 shows servants judged not by what they wanted to do, but by what they did with what they were given. The servant who buried his portion didn’t lose it because he sinned loudly, but because he did nothing faithfully.
Provision is not random, and it is not sentimental. God multiplies what is aligned with His order. When believers refuse responsibility, blame the system, or wait for a miracle instead of practicing wisdom, they are not being patient — they are being disobedient. Proverbs 10:4 says lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. That is not capitalism. That is Scripture.
If God seems silent about increase, the issue is rarely heaven. It is usually stewardship on earth. Before asking for more, Scripture demands a hard question: have you proven faithful with what is already in your hands?
