Time. Years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds. all so fleeting.
–
Over the last couple months, the Holy Spirit has convicted me of how I’m spending my time & where my heart is.
–
I’ve been spending WAY too much time on my phone & specifically, social media.
–
I’ve become aware of just how carelessly I’ve been spending the precious seconds the Lord has given me on this earth.
–
I’m working on being intentional with my time, more present with those around me & spending more time with the Heavenly Father.
–
Some practical steps I’m taking:
– setting screen time limits/alerts
– Picking up my bible instead of my phone
– Being productive instead of mindlessly scrolling
– Following less people on social media & not worrying about missing out on whatever is being shared at the moment
– Reminding myself how special each moment is. You’re only in that moment once, then it’s gone.
–
“There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven: a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to avoid embracing; a time to search and a time to count as lost; a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 🤍

Speaking of time, this watch from @givemejesus is such a beautiful & grounding reminder that the Lord is always with us & to come home to Him. No matter where we are, our Heavenly Father is there.
