Today is Good Friday.

Today, over a thousand years ago, Jesus died an excruciatingly painful death on the cross.

Why?

To account for the sins of the world. Both yours & mine. To ensure that we would no longer be separated from our Heavenly Father. What great sacrificial love, wow.

This day brings such joy & sorrow. Such sorrow for the death Jesus had to endure. But such joy knowing Sunday is coming & our Savior rose from the grave.

Oh, what a Savior. He is wonderful.
