When all feels like looking back

Message:
In our journey of faith, it’s easy to be captivated by our past experiences and regrets. We often find ourselves looking back, wishing things were different or lamenting missed opportunities. However, God invites us to press forward. Philippians 3:13-14 reminds us, “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Let this be our encouragement: we are not defined by our past but rather by our pursuit of Him.

Prayer:
Dear Father, please help me to keep pressing on in faith when all I feel like doing is looking back. Guide me to release my regrets and trust in your perfect plan for my life. Strengthen my resolve to focus on the future you’ve designed for me, filled with hope and purpose. May I find joy in the present and confidence in the steps ahead. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
