No matter how long it takes, when God works, it’s always worth the wait.
In our fast-paced world, patience can often feel like a lost virtue. We are accustomed to quick solutions and instant gratification. Yet, we are called to remember that God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own expectations. Throughout the Bible, we find countless stories of individuals who had to endure long waits—Abraham waited for a promised son, Moses waited in the desert, and the Israelites waited generations for their Messiah. Each of these waiting periods was not in vain; they were times of preparation, growth, and deepening faith.
When we find ourselves waiting, let us lean into God’s promises. He works behind the scenes, orchestrating events with precision. In our waiting, we can develop resilience, trust, and a stronger relationship with Him. Trust that every moment of waiting is filled with purpose and that God’s plans for us are ultimately good.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect timing in our lives. Forgive us for the moments we impatiently push for quick answers and solutions. Help us to trust in Your divine plan, even when the wait feels long. Strengthen our faith as we patiently await Your work in our lives. May we find peace in knowing that what You have for us is always worth the wait. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
