Have compassion for people

Father God in heaven, teach me today to have compassion for people around me. May I learn how to empathize with what they are suffering and going through, so that I can extend a helping hand and comfort them. Remind me Lord that I am not the center of my life anymore, but You, and as a result I must fulfill Your will in my life. If You want me to touch and inspire lives, so be it, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
