When I placed my trust in Jesus

Our most gracious heavenly Father, thank You for the freedom You have given me when I placed my trust in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I pray that I would not take this freedom from sin for granted. Help me Lord not to go back to my former life that only seeks to give pleasure and delight to myself. From now on, lead me to paths that would be pleasing to You, and helpful for me in my spiritual growth. In Christ’s name I pray, Amen.
