May the cross always remind me of who I was

Dear God, I know I am not worthy to be called Your child, and yet You allowed Your Son Jesus to die for my sins. For that I will be forever grateful. May the cross always remind me of who I was, who I am in Christ in the present, and who I would be in the future. Help me to understand that as a believer, it is my responsibility to share and proclaim the free gift of salvation to many others. Give me the boldness and compassion to preach and live out Your word in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
