After suffering a heart attack and briefly dying, Janelle Wofford says she experienced a vivid glimpse of Heaven that transformed her life.
Janelle recalled finding herself in a “bright, bright place” filled with overwhelming peace, joy, and comfort. Unlike anything she had ever experienced on earth, she said there was “no pain, no fear, just peace, comfort, joy.” She felt surrounded by loved ones and described Heaven as both beautiful and familiar.
Rather than worrying about what was happening on earth, Janelle said she was completely consumed by the glory of the moment. “I wasn’t worried about anything,” she recalled. “I was just overwhelmed with the peace and the joy.”
She said she did not want to leave Heaven when she heard her name being called. After hearing it a second time, she reluctantly responded, only to instantly find herself back in her body as EMTs revived her following cardiac arrest.
She now shares her testimony to encourage others, saying that knowing Jesus is worth every hardship in life because “Heaven is there waiting” for those who trust in Him.
