As the school year kicks off, whether you’re in middle school, high school or college, this season often comes with an array of emotions.

For me, it’s usually a mix of excitement for the new opportunities to learn, but the dread of much homework and many papers to come.

However, lately the Lord has offered me a new perspective on education and I thought I’d share since it may encourage someone else.

Education is a blessing.

Not everyone is able to go to school, for one reason or another. It’s such a heart-change to see education as a blessing; it’s something I “get to do” rather than begrudgingly “have to do.” Although, yes, it is what’s necessary for my future, thinking about it in this way makes it so much more joyful and reminds me to glorify the Lord in my studies.

Although my school year doesn’t start for another month, I’ll be praying for all of you fellow students. Seasons of transition are never easy, but seeking the Lord and to glorify Him always makes them worthwhile. 🤍
