Christian leaders are speaking out with urgency after anti-ICE agitators stormed a Minnesota church during a Sunday service. Pastor Jentezen Franklin of Free Chapel labeled the chaotic scene “a form of terrorism toward Christians and their families,” emphasizing that the sanctity of God’s house must be defended.
The intruders didn’t just protest; they brought hostility into the sanctuary. Evangelist Franklin Graham reported that they “”shouted, cursed, and hurled accusations at youth, children, and families.”” He highlighted the deep irony of the agitators’ actions: “”They were fine with trampling and violating the rights of Christians who were in church to peacefully worship… all while saying they are standing up for the rights of people who are breaking the law.””
For the families inside, a morning of prayer turned into a confrontation with “”agitators”” who showed no respect for the sacred. The response from the faith community is clear: worship is a protected right, and the targeting of children and families within church walls is an affront to religious liberty.
As hostility toward the faith rises, these leaders are calling on believers to refuse to be intimidated. It is a time for the Church to stand firm, speak out, and pray for the protection of every sanctuary.
