Colton Dixon kicked off The Ignite Tour 2025 on Oct. 9 with Mac Powell, Danny Gokey, and Ryan Ellis, and spoke on the Dove Awards red carpet about the opportunity he believes artists have in the current moment.
“I feel like now more than ever, people are hungry for truth,” Dixon said, calling it “a special season” and urging believers to “see and seize the opportunity” as they go out on tour and serve audiences.
Dixon also offered a direct challenge to Christians: “Don’t compromise. Don’t compromise,” he said. “God’s Word is true from very first verse to the very last. Don’t compromise to fit in. Don’t compromise out of pressure. Stand true and stand tall.”
He added that worship and time alone with God matter, saying, “I believe that worship is a weapon. Get away from everybody. Go be alone with Jesus and let him dictate what you need to do.”
