Franklin Graham Criticizes Democrats’ Brief on Trans Athletes

Franklin Graham accused Democratic lawmakers of “selling their souls for power” after more than 130 Democrats filed an amicus brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to allow trans-identified male athletes to compete in women’s sports.
Responding on social media, Graham condemned the position as immoral and harmful to women and girls, saying it reflects a pursuit of power rather than right and wrong.

The comments came as the Supreme Court prepares to hear challenges to laws in Idaho and West Virginia that bar biological males from female sports—laws that lower courts blocked.

Graham said he is not aligned with either party but will support platforms he believes reflect biblical values, and he called on Christians to pray for the justices.
