Franklin Graham says many believers miss the reality of spiritual warfare because they don’t know God’s Word. In a recent interview, Franklin Graham warned that if Christians are unfamiliar with Scripture, they may “succumb to the attacks of the devil” without even realizing it.
He said the enemy’s strategy is often subtle. Sometimes it is not open rebellion, but apathy — when believers “kind of don’t care.” Graham stressed that Christians must study the Bible so they can recognize deception and stand firm in faith.
Calling the devil “a deceiver,” Graham said many Christians are misled daily, while those who trust God often face intense attacks. He pointed to Erica Kirk, saying she has faced criticism and attacks since the death of her husband, despite grieving deeply.
For Graham, this is the heart of spiritual warfare: division, discouragement, and believers turning against one another. He said Satan wants Christians “at each other’s throats,” wants them to fail, and wants them to fall. His message was clear: know God’s Word, stay alert, and don’t underestimate the battle.
