Brian “Head” Welch, former lead guitarist of the metal band Korn, shared how fame, success, and wealth left him feeling empty and unsure of his identity despite having everything the world promised would satisfy.
He said his turning point came when he returned to church and experienced a renewed sense of God’s presence, leading him to recommit his life to Christ after years of addiction and spiritual struggle.
Welch described an immediate transformation, saying his life began to change within weeks as he surrendered his old lifestyle.
He left Korn at the height of its success in 2005 and has since spoken openly about his faith journey, emphasizing that true change begins by coming to God as one is, not after becoming perfect.
