“I was being used by the devil.” These are the chilling words of Doreen Virtue, the woman who once sat at the throne of the New Age movement. After decades of global fame as the “Angel Card” queen and a frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Doreen shocked the world by denouncing her entire career to follow Jesus Christ.
The turning point came when she read Deuteronomy 18:10-12. The scripture pierced through the deception, labeling her life’s work—divination and mediumship—as an “abomination” to God. She realized that the “angels” she thought she was communicating with were actually “demons masquerading as entities of light.”
“I fell to my knees and wept, begging Jesus to take over my life,” she recalls.
