Luke 17:17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
We ask God for many things, but after we got it, do we believe it is God’s answer to our prayer and give thanks to God? It is very important for us to have a grateful heart in our faith journey. There is great power in gratitude. Some people may work hard to do God’s work, but before we say what we did for God, the more important thing is to remember what God did for us.
We can not take God’s grace for granted. It is like we give someone a gift but get no response form him, how sad our heart will be. God is same, He is our loving God and heavenly father, He loves us and also wants to get response of love from us. The relationship with God is relationship of faith and love, not just ask and get.
