Kel Mitchell, the former Nickelodeon star turned youth pastor, is celebrating a powerful moment in his daughter’s walk with Jesus. His little girl Wisdom recently chose to be baptized, and her dad had the honor of stepping into the water with her.
Known for shows like All That and Kenan & Kel, Mitchell now serves as a youth pastor at Spirit Food Christian Center in Winnetka, California. At a recent service, he personally baptized 8 year old Wisdom as family and church members looked on.
Mitchell later posted the video on Instagram, sharing how deeply the moment moved him. He said he cried tears of joy watching his daughter publicly declare her faith in Christ and called it one of the greatest gifts he has ever received, a memory he will carry for the rest of his life.
