As U.S. forces engage Iran, leaders are calling for prayer. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told CBN News, “I pray for them, my wife prays for them, our cabinet prays for them,” adding he asks God for “the biblical wisdom to see what is right and the courage to do it.”
Air Force veteran Jennifer-Ruth Green echoed the appeal, saying, “Prayer is so needful.” She urged Americans to pray for “wisdom for decision makers” and for troops to have “moral courage, physical courage,” encouraging those able to “take one meal today and pray.”
The calls come amid confirmed U.S. casualties and rising tensions in the region.
