A Christian pastor was arrested while preaching on a public street outside London after complaints were made about his message.
Pastor Steve Maile, 66, says he was sharing the Gospel and speaking about Islam when police placed him in handcuffs in front of a crowd.
“I don’t preach hate,” Maile said. “I preach the love of God, the mercy of God and the goodness of God in Christ Jesus.”
Police originally accused him of assault, though that allegation was later dropped. He is still under investigation for public order offense.
