Former Polish Education Minister Przemysław Czarnek has issued a stark warning regarding the future of his nation, asserting that Poland’s very survival is inextricably linked to its Christian identity. Speaking at the “Pilgrimage of Men,” Czarnek declared that without its thousand-year heritage rooted in Christ, the Polish nation cannot truly endure.
Czarnek, a prominent figure in Poland’s conservative movement, called for a “counter-revolution” against what he describes as the “putrid, anti-religious activities” currently sweeping through the West. He argued that the modern “culture war” is a brutal revolution where religious values are being ridiculed and “spat upon.”
“Man cannot be understood without Christ,” Czarnek stated, echoing the teachings of Pope John Paul II. He emphasized that every misfortune in the world stems from the failure to follow God’s commandments. For Poland, he believes the faith was the shield that allowed them to survive centuries of occupation between Russia and Germany.
The Minister insisted that it is the duty of the current generation to protect this heritage. “If we do not want to be the West—in the cultural sense… then we must be counter-revolutionaries,” he concluded, urging a return to the biblical foundations that built the nation.
