Franklin Graham is calling on Christians to pray for Pastor Clive Johnston, a retired minister in Northern Ireland who was found guilty and fined after preaching near a hospital while quoting John 3:16 in public.
Graham argued that the pastor was simply preaching the Gospel and warned that the situation reflects a deeper spiritual battle taking place across the world.
“There is an anti Christ spirit that is prevailing in our world today,” Graham said. “It’s as though every demon in Hell has been unleashed.”
He also warned that religious freedom is increasingly under pressure in countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States, urging believers to remain bold in their faith rather than retreat in fear.
Ephesians 6:12 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world.”
