As America approaches its historic 250th anniversary, thousands of believers gathered on the National Mall on May 17 for ‘Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving’. This historic national prayer event marks a critical spiritual milestone, focusing entirely on scripture reading, repentance, and a unified national call to return to God.
Ministry leaders emphasized that the nation’s future relies not on political strength, but on biblical foundations and divine guidance. Cissie Graham Lynch, ministry leader with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, personally addressed the massive crowd to emphasize the enduring faith that inspired America’s founders. Prominent evangelist Franklin Graham also delivered a powerful call to faith via a special video message, urging the nation to remember God’s faithfulness across generations.
The all-day event, structured around three pillars including ‘A New Birth of Faith and Freedom’, brought together Christians from every state to seek God’s grace for the next 250 years.
