U.S. soldier Maya Johnson shared a powerful testimony from her deployment overseas, saying fellow soldiers mocked her and called her “church girl” because she prayed before every mission.
According to Maya Johnson, some teammates even asked her to stop praying out loud. Eventually, she was removed from missions as punishment.
But after repeated bomb attacks reportedly struck her team while she was gone, her leader asked her to return.
“We keep getting hit and need your protection. Whatever you’re praying, it’s working,” her leader allegedly told her.
Maya Johnson said that after returning to the missions, the attacks stopped, and all 300 people assigned to her group made it home alive.
Her testimony is now spreading online, with many calling it a reminder of the power of faith and prayer even in the middle of danger and war.
