Student Survey Shift on Gender Identity

Some very interesting numbers have emerged from recent student surveys…

• At Phillips Academy Andover, students identifying as neither male nor female dropped from 9.2% in 2023 to 3% in 2025.

• At Brown University, the percentage identifying as nonbinary fell from 5% in 2022-23 to 2.6% in 2025.

• In a nationwide FIRE survey of more than 50,000 college students, those identifying as a gender other than male or female dropped from 6.8% in 2023 to 3.6% in 2025.

• The same data found that students identifying as heterosexual increased from 68% in 2023 to 77% in 2025.

I pray this generation continues to discover who God created them to be. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, created by God with purpose and design.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” — Genesis 1:27
