Teach me to wait upon Your answer

Dear faithful Father, teach me to wait upon Your answer to my requests. Help me to understand that I do not have the right to dictate what I want to happen. Instead, I should submit upon Your will, whether You would grant me my request or not. While I am in this process of waiting, may I learn to trust You more, and not my own instincts and decisions. I commit everything to You, O God. May Your will be done in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
