July 2025, Biblical Artifact Discovered Near Temple Mount Tied to King Josiah’s Servant
Another powerful confirmation of Scripture.
A rare First Temple-era clay seal (bulla) bearing the Hebrew name “Yedayah son of Asayahu” has been uncovered at the Temple Mount Sifting Project in Jerusalem. The name Asayahu (a form of “Asaya”) appears in 2 Kings 22:12 and 2 Chronicles 34:20—describing a royal official who served under righteous King Josiah, known for restoring worship of the Lord in Judah.
Archaeologists confirm the Paleo-Hebrew inscription is nearly complete and clearly legible—only the second such find in over 20 years of sifting debris illegally dumped by Islamic authorities from the sacred Temple Mount area.
