The “Hand of God” in the Heavens

‘THE HAND OF GOD’ IN SPACE?

In 2004, a NASA telescope captured a stunning image of a pulsar wind nebula that many people around the world say resembles a massive hand stretching across space. The formation quickly became known as the “Hand of God.”

Scientists explain the image as the result of natural cosmic activity involving gas, dust, and energy released by a dying star. But many believers see something deeper in the breathtaking design of the universe itself.

For countless people, the image serves as a reminder of the power, beauty, and majesty of creation and of a Creator whose glory is reflected throughout the heavens.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” Psalm 19:1
