Times Square Revival: A Decade in the Making

Ten years ago, Pastor Mike Signorelli arrived in New York City from Indiana to plant V1 Church, only for his car to break down in the middle of Times Square with his toddler daughter in the back. At that moment, he had no idea that a decade later, that very same spot would be overflowing with thousands of people from all seven of his church campuses. Despite the pouring rain, believers stood for over three hours, refusing to leave, as they witnessed a historic move of God in the heart of the city.

The service, which was televised globally to more than 40,000 viewers, served as a bold proclamation of the Gospel and the resurrection story. Pastor Mike reflected on the journey, noting that the gathering was a response to the spiritual needs of the city and a call to intercession. For him, the sight of people from all walks of life—including former gang members and those from diverse religious backgrounds—surrendering to Jesus was a powerful testimony that light is overcoming darkness in New York.

The path to this moment has not been easy, as Pastor Mike revealed he faces continuous opposition and threats for his bold stance. However, he remains undeterred, stating that the Church cannot be intimidated or silenced when it comes to sharing the truth of Christ. As V1 Church continues to grow, this Times Square revival stands as a marker of a new chapter, declaring that the city belongs to Jesus and that the work of transformation has only just begun.
