Mya Grimes was driving home from college when the sky got dark. Minutes later, she was in the middle of a tornado. She was on the phone with her dad, when she started screaming, “Dad the trees are falling, the trees are falling!” She drove over a tree and her car started spinning out of control. She cried out “Jesus save me!” Her car windows and windshield imploded, and she was sucked out of her car window and blown 40 yards down the street. She grabbed onto a lamppost, dodging hail and debris until the winds died down. Mya miraculously walked away from all of that with only a few cuts and bruises. She told the local news station that interviewed her that Jesus Christ had saved her life.
“I’m 20 years old and I know that a lot of people my age may be on the fence or kind of struggling with their faith. And so, the reason for me posting was just to say, get right with God, because life is so uncertain,” Mya said.
“The plans that we have for ourselves are not always the plans that God has for us.
And this whole situation really just put that into perspective how serious life is and just how important it is to make sure that others also know the importance of getting right and forming a real relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Jesus saved Mya’s life and he wants to save your life as well. Life is uncertain, and tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. Take Mya’s advice — invite Jesus Christ into your life
