8,000 Students Unite in Knoxville as 500 Choose Jesus

Over 8,000 Students Gathered — Hundreds Turned to Jesus and Were Baptized

A remarkable move of God unfolded at the University of Tennessee when more than 8,000 college students packed the Thompson‑Boling Arena in Knoxville, gathering for the UniteUS worship and evangelistic event. What began as a campus outreach quickly turned into a powerful spiritual encounter that left students and leaders amazed at what God was doing in the next generation.

UniteUS, a ministry focused on presenting the Gospel to Generation Z, reported that approximately 500 students responded to the salvation message, publicly choosing to follow Jesus. Many of those who responded also participated in baptisms outside the arena, making a visible and powerful declaration of their new faith.

Students described the night as unforgettable, with worship, prayer, and repentance filling the arena. One video circulating online captured students testifying that they had “witnessed hundreds being baptized” and that they “saw thousands changed for the name of Jesus,” signaling a spiritual hunger on campus that organizers say is part of a larger movement.

UniteUS began its work in 2023 at Auburn University and has since spread to campuses nationwide — drawing thousands of young people to worship and salvation decisions. Leaders and participants alike believe these gatherings reflect more than an event — they see them as signs of a genuine revival among young believers struggling with cultural pressures but responding boldly to the Gospel.
