A Call Back to Revival

I was in prayer the other night and I asked the Holy Spirit what He wanted to pray about. Suddenly my mind was drawn back to September 10th and I began to feel all over again the emotion of that day from the very first gut-wrenching moment I heard the words “Charlie Kirk was just shot in the neck.” I began to cry, and even as I did, I recognized what a strange thing it was that I was literally feeling the same kind of grief over the loss of his life as if I was grieving a family member—yet I never had the honor of meeting Charlie Kirk.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of how on that day, and several days to follow, Christians all around the world reported experiencing this same grief for a man they had never met, and how it was a confirmation that we are true brothers and sisters connected in the Lord. We felt his loss, not only in the natural, but in our spirits.

So many people came to the Lord during those days, but it could have been more. As I continued praying, I was incredily saddened as I thought about how these last six months should have been a half a year of glorious revival—instead, the devil swooped in, commandeering the attention and minds of men and women all over the country, turning them to gossip, conspiracy, and slander.

I pray for the minds of people to turn their gaze back to Jesus and what HE is doing in this hour, that we may not waste any opportunity for real revival in this country.
