At an 18-week ultrasound, Jennifer Scott was told her unborn baby had severe brain and heart defects. Doctors said parts of the baby’s brain were missing, fluid was filling the cavity, her heart wasn’t developing properly, and she would likely lose the baby. They recommended terminating the pregnancy.
After enduring four miscarriages, Jennifer refused to give up. She and her husband, Chris, chose to trust God completely. Jennifer opened her Bible, contacted friends, family, her church, and even The 700 Club, asking for prayer.
As doctors continued monitoring the pregnancy, they made a shocking discovery that new brain tissue began forming. By the time Jennifer gave birth on June 13, 2013, her daughter Lynette had a perfectly normal brain.
Although doctors initially suspected a heart defect, further testing revealed nothing wrong.
Today, Lynette is healthy and thriving.
“My child is living proof that God still does miracles,” Jennifer said.
