“One Million Moms is calling on Christians to boycott this year’s Super Bowl LX halftime show, headlined by rapper Bad Bunny, and instead tune in to Turning Point USA’s alternative broadcast.
The group claims the NFL’s performance will be politically charged and sexually provocative, highlighting “queer icons” and themes of cultural rebellion. Turning Point USA confirmed it will stream an All American Halftime Show celebrating “faith, family, and freedom” across its platforms and partner networks.
Bad Bunny will lead the 12- to 15-minute Apple Music halftime segment, which typically draws over 100 million viewers. Conservative critics have cited his past cross-dressing performances, public support for LGBT causes, and opposition to U.S. immigration enforcement as reasons for their objections.
The NFL has not formally responded, though Commissioner Roger Goodell has previously defended the selection as “carefully thought through” and designed to create a “unified moment.””
