Candace Cameron Bure praised the Museum of the Bible’s weeklong Scripture-reading event, which is part of the celebration of America’s 250th birthday and includes celebrities, lawmakers, cabinet members and President Trump reading portions of the Bible.
Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Bure said, “Knowing that the president of the United States is going to be a part of reading the Bible is incredible and historic. And I just think it’s a beautiful thing.” She added that she sees “the sovereignty of God’s hand on the event.”
Bure also said she hopes the event reminds Americans to be thankful for the country they have and to recognize the role Scripture has played in its endurance.
