Candace Cameron Bure has been named a national spokesperson for America Reads the Bible, a faith-centered event planned for America’s 250th birthday in Washington, D.C. She is set to speak at the Museum of the Bible during a weeklong gathering built around Scripture, prayer, and national reflection.
The event is scheduled for April 18–25, 2026, and will feature a public reading of the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Organizers say the goal is to call the nation back to its spiritual foundations and pray for revival in hearts, families, and communities across the country.
Bure’s role fits the message she has continued to carry publicly: faith, family, and boldness about the Gospel. The gathering is being presented as a major national moment of Bible reading, worship, prayer, and renewed focus on God’s Word.
