Christian worship icon Chris Tomlin publicly praised American Idol winner Hannah Harper after she performed his worship song “At The Cross (Love Ran Red)” during the finale.
Tomlin congratulated Harper on her win and personally invited her to sing with him, saying, “I love hearing you sing At The Cross!!! Let’s sing it together sometime! God bless you and your family in this next season of your life.”
Harper won the competition after an emotional finale performance of the worship song, singing through tears as other contestants gathered around her in support.
After her victory, Harper said the show gave her the opportunity to share her “ministry” and her relationship with the Lord.
