The devil doesn’t show up looking evil.
If he did, no one would follow him.
He shows up polished.
Attractive.
Comfortable.
Familiar.
He looks like the opportunity you prayed for—until it costs you your convictions.
He feels like love—until it pulls you away from God.
He sounds like freedom—until you realize you’re enslaved.
Not everything beautiful is from God.
Not everything you want is good for your soul.
Discernment matters more than desire.
And holiness will always cost you something.
If this makes you uncomfortable, it’s probably doing its job.
