“In 2015, ISIS militants in Libya reportedly captured a group of Christians and pressured them to renounce their faith. According to various eyewitness testimonies, unusual events were said to have occurred during their captivity. At one point during intense persecution, an earthquake allegedly struck the area, disrupting the militants and enabling several captives to escape.
Some survivors later described seeing what they believed were angelic figures offering protection and comfort in the midst of the crisis, with a few claiming they saw the face of Christ. These accounts were shared by local church leaders and humanitarian organizations, who viewed the events as evidence of divine intervention.
Reports also emerged that, in the aftermath, certain former ISIS members renounced extremism and converted to Christianity after hearing about or witnessing these experiences.”
