For sixteen years, a young male patient lived with severe idiopathic gastroparesis—a chronic digestive disorder that left his stomach unable to function properly. Diagnosed in infancy, his condition was so severe that he depended entirely on feeding tubes to survive, including both gastric and jejunal tubes. Oral feeding was not an option.
