Faith and Leadership in America

It’s honestly alarming how many people claim to be born again, yet recoil at the idea of a president calling this nation back to God.

Let’s be real for a second. People say, “We don’t even know which god he means.” Except he has repeatedly pointed to Jesus—calling Him Lord and Savior. So what exactly is the issue?

Because the alternative is not neutral.

We could have leadership openly honoring false gods, celebrating pride as virtue, and pushing ideologies that stand in direct opposition to Scripture. Instead, we have someone publicly elevating the name of Jesus and supporting Christian values—and somehow that’s what people are skeptical of?

Some are quick to say, “Watch the fruit.”

Alright—let’s do that.

Calling a nation back to God is not bad fruit. Rejecting Christ, embracing sin, and silencing believers—that’s bad fruit.

And even if you question motives, Scripture already addressed this.

Paul said in Philippians 1:18 that even when Christ is preached from impure motives, he still rejoices—because Jesus is being proclaimed.

So what does it say about us if we’re not rejoicing at all?

At some point, this stops being about politics—and starts revealing where our hearts actually stand.
