At the White House Easter Lunch, Franklin Graham prayed by drawing from the Book of Esther and asking God to protect the Jewish people, watch over America’s military, and give President Trump victory. He said the Persians in Esther wanted to destroy the Jews in a single day, then said today’s Iranian regime also wants to destroy the Jewish people.
Graham prayed, “You have raised up President Trump for such a time as this,” asking God to strengthen and protect him in this moment. He also prayed for the people of Iran to be set free and asked God to deliver them from the regime.
He closed the prayer by proclaiming Jesus Christ, thanking God that His Son came to take away sin, died on the cross, was buried, and was raised to life. He ended by asking God to protect President Trump and praying in Jesus’ name.
