God Counts Every Detail

Jesus said:

“And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.” — Matthew 10:30

Most people read that as just a poetic way of saying: “God knows a lot.”

But think about this: The average person has around 100,000 hairs on their head. And on average we lose 50–100 hairs every single day.

That means God is not describing Someone who counted your hairs once and walked away. He is continually attentive!

Psalm 139 says, “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.” (Psalm 139:5)

That’s the picture. A God who is not distant from your life—but near enough to place His hand on your head and attentive enough to notice even the smallest changing details about you daily.

While you’re sleeping…
working…
crying…
driving…
living ordinary life…

God is paying attention.

Jesus wasn’t just revealing God’s intelligence. He was revealing His intimacy.

If God pays attention to something as small and constantly changing as the hairs on your head…

How much more is He aware of:
your prayers
your pain
your fears
your needs
your life

You are not overlooked.
You are deeply known.
