Graham Urges Prayer and Compassion Amid Middle East Turmoil

Franklin Graham is calling on Christians worldwide to respond to the escalating turmoil in the Middle East with prayer and practical compassion. As tensions involving Israel, Iran, and neighboring nations intensify, many believers in the region are facing heightened danger and persecution.

Through Samaritan’s Purse, Graham’s organization is continuing to deliver emergency aid — including ambulances, medical assistance, and relief supplies — to affected areas across Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. At the same time, reports indicate that Christianity in Iran is growing rapidly despite severe restrictions, with estimates suggesting more than a million believers meeting largely underground.

Graham is urging Christians to “stand in the gap” by praying for protection and courage for those at risk, for an end to the violence, and for lasting freedom and renewal throughout the region.
