Christians, we’ve got to stop praying this way: “Jesus, please stretch out your hand of healing and touch this person…”
Jesus is not going to stretch out His hand when He already stretched out His body on the cross! He already laid Himself over the whipping post! You don’t see Jesus or His disciples praying for someone and asking or begging God to do the healing. They commanded healing, and sickness fled! And we are instructed to do the same—to exercise through faith the authority given us by Christ and release the power of the Holy Spirit within us. The price for healing has already been paid.
